Admissions Exam Annunciation Seminary – Finalized

What should I study?	Catechism of the Council of Trent, Baltimore Catechism #4, Study Supplement
Passing	Must get 264 out of 278 to pass with a 95%. Lets say you scored a 75% your first time. The second time you take the test, you only have to answer the 25% you did not get right. We keep adding your percentages until you reach a 95% or above. You can take the test as many times as you want.
Rules	The test is not open book. And there is no time limit. For those who are in time constraints, you can take it in sections 30 minutes to an hour at a time. After this hour is spent you can go back to the book for further studies. You cannot however use the book during the test.
Cost	$30 each time
Grading	We will send the results after grading your exam.
Purchasing	What am I buying? United States residents are buying a physical copy of the test as well as a digital delivered copy. In addition, they are buying the time for the staff to grade the exam. The residents in the United States can either email it back or mail it to us directly. Those dwelling outside of the United States will only receive a digital copy of the exam. This must be emailed back to us for grading.

On March 30, 2012, the Annunciation Seminary will ordain its first deacon, the Reverend Brother Raphael. This is indeed a happy time for the seminary as Brother Raphael, who has been studying and helping in the seminary for over three years makes this important step in his ministry for the Catholic Church. The Diaconate is a Sacrament and the Deacons performs many important services for the Church. A Deacon may administer Holy Communion and Baptize with the authorization of his pastor. His Bishop may also commit to him the office of preaching the Word of God from the pulpit in the church. We ask all to pray for Brother Raphael as he makes this important step.

Parts of the test can be sent in for grading. Instead of sending the test in all at once.

In other news, we are looking to acquiring a property for a formal seminary/monastery. This property is considered in real estate a “white elephant”. In layman’s terms, it is undesired among the majority of buyers, but it is perfect for us.
